So Eddie tagged me. I took the challenge.

1) Turn on your MP3 player or music player on your computer.
2) Go to SHUFFLE songs mode.
3) Write down the first 15 songs that come up–song title and artist–NO editing/cheating, please.

I did cheat – I didn’t actually listen to the songs, as I was trying to get other stuff done that required thought-without-music while my jukebox was playing. But you still get a glimpse into my iTunes library.

And I pass on the challenge to you.

  1. Hi Paul, it’s S. from Vancouver. I don’t like to put my full name online anywhere. Hmm, interesting exercise. Of your list, I only recognize Mozart, Willie Nelson and Elton John. I’ll look up some of the others.

Apparently I like opera, classical music, satirical rock operas (Jesus Christ Superstar!), nostalgic German popular music from the 1930s, French and French-Canadian singers, and Thelonius Monk. Oh, and ABBA, of course. It’s all true. My favourite music, if I had to pick one CD to take to a desert island, would most definitely be La Traviata. I don’t get tired of opera.
