We had a huge snowfall two days ago. After the snow was finished falling, I came across this amazing leaf. I loved the transition from red to orange to yellow. The small imperfections only added to the beauty.
I decided to shoot the leaf on dry deck boards and wet. It was interesting how different the photos turned out.

I’m hoping to take Amy and the kids to the ardennes, this weekend… I worked there all this week and autumn is at its most beautiful there… I think it’ll remind Amy of upstate NY, it does to me.
no snow here yet, probably for at least 1 more month… we’ve had only a bit of frost some nights ago.
