A Trabant.
I’ve written about them before.
This one was at my neighborhood Walgreen’s, and I couldn’t resist.
Though the car was originally introduced in 1957, I found a brand new one at Walgreen’s.

I’m having to squint, but I do think I see you behind the wheel! 🙂
that is a really rough road or very small wheels :-))
Glad you’re making a fleet for yourself.
In 1970 someone very kindly gave us a 1957 Rambler that my sister used that year for college. It looked just like your Trabant except that it was two-tone green.
Tim Gier: Yes, that’s me!
Bob: Both.
Johanna: Yes, the stable is growing.
Tim other-G: You are right – that Rambler does look a lot like the Trabant! (I can just picture it: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1957-1960-rambler-rebel1.htm)
How do you get four elephants in a Trabant?
