Why that particular photo?
Because it’s just so random.

This reminds me of a photo I took for my blog. But you’ll never see it, because I deleted it before ever using it. I took a photo of the ceiling of my parents’ living room. I wanted to someday blog about how I used to lie on my back and wonder what if the ceiling was the floor and the floor was the ceiling. And how I’d have to step over the headers between each room, and how that’d be cool. But alas, my photography skills are sorely wanting, and I couldn’t pull of an artistic shot like you’ve done here. And thus the effect would be just … stupid.
I don’t know if this is (ugly). Shapes, shadows, textures. I just wish people would equate uninteresting with bad. This picture is not not “bad” it’s just not interesting.
