I’m burned out on Christmas music.
My brother and I used to both get a Christmas CD every year. The variety of interpretations of classic Christmas carols and songs was always interesting.
Until ten years or so ago.
Then stores and parking lots and hospitals and everywhere except your car or home began playing Christmas songs from the day after Thanksgiving onward.
It’s just too much. And there’s no choice.
Their bad = my bad.
This year they all decided to started the Xmas music the first day of November.
Ugh
Baby It’s Cold Outside seems to be the carol of choice. One of my least favorites.
I have to agree with you on this one. There seem to be endless variations of the same few songs, over and over. This year I solved the burnout by listening to a Christian music station that is new in our area. So when I heard the carols in a mall or wherever, I didn’t mind because I hadn’t been listening to them for weeks already.
