This is the best pen I’ve tried in a long time. Click over to my review.

I haven’t bought a pen in decades for myself. I compulsively collect them from hotels when I travel. When I packed up my room for my move to Tampa, I found close to 40 pens lying around, and there were several dozen downstairs from hotels and marketing booths. So I’m by no means a connoisseur. But Marriott gives away decent pens.
Isn’t it funny how something as seemingly unimportant as a pen can actually mean so much? I wonder if it has something to do with us being graphic artists? I’ve always loved my pens, and was rather disappointed when Macs made Rapidographs obsolete. At the moment, my favorite is Pilot Precise V5 Rolling Ball, extra fine.
Deb, I agree that being a designer influences our appreciation of quality pens.
I love those Pilots too. They’ve been around a while and are still among the very best rolling ball pens out there.
